Ta-Ho Maritime Corporation was incorporated in 1979 by Taiwan Cement Corporation and Taiwan Transport & Storage Corporation in an effort to break through the bottleneck of cement transportation on the island. The initial paid-up capital was NT$70 millions, but to meet growing business requirement, it was gradually increased to NT$1 billion, 831 million, 356 thousand and 500 as of September 2005.
